About the Role
The Neurological Institute has established a protocol-driven, multidisciplinary approach to treating a variety of neurological diseases, including epilepsy, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular conditions, neurooncology, and cerebrovascular disorders. We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible Neurologists to join our growing team in Upstate South Carolina.
This position offers the opportunity to teach residents and fellows while expanding adult Neurology services throughout the region. You will focus on the evaluation and treatment of patients with Movement Disorders or Neuromuscular conditions, with the option to treat general neurological conditions. The role includes participation in Neurology-specific multidisciplinary clinics and collaboration within a strong interdisciplinary care program involving neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology.
Teaching involvement is a key component of this role, including mentorship for the Adult Neurology residency program (6 residents per year) and instruction at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. You will work in a friendly, collegial environment across both clinic and inpatient settings, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
