We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologists, MS Specialists, and Movement Disorder Physicians to join our growing multi-department neurology program. This team is currently anchored by a stroke neurologist, a neurophysiologist, a sleep physician, a headache specialist, and an Advanced Practice Provider with an interest in memory disorders. The environment is designed to be friendly and collegial, supporting both clinic and inpatient settings.
About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive environment where resident assistance is available during the week for inpatient consults. The call schedule is manageable, with general neurology coverage occurring only one in four times; acute stroke care is supported by telemedicine, and all neurology patients are admitted under hospitalists. Beyond clinical duties, there are opportunities to conduct clinical research with potential collaboration with the USC Arnold School of Public Health. Successful candidates will receive an affiliate appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine at the level of Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with experience.
