The Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute is a 200,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility opened in 2018. It serves a catchment area of over 1.3 million people and houses all oncologic specialties under one roof. Organized around Tumor Site Teams with dedicated boards and support services, the Institute boasts the highest Net Promoter Score of all service lines within Parkview Health.
We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Board Eligible or Board Certified Palliative Care physician to join our Palliative Oncology team. This role is integral to our cancer care delivery model, ensuring involvement at all stages of a patient's cancer journey. You will drive a multidisciplinary approach focused on the proactive management of symptoms and the improvement of quality of life.
Operating in an academic-style practice within a community setting, you will utilize the EPIC EMR system. The position offers a call frequency of 1:3 and welcomes candidates with a palliative care fellowship, as well as those with internal medicine or dual palliative oncology and medical oncology training.
