Our Hematology/Oncology team is dyad-led, featuring strong physician and administrative leadership. We are an Integrated Network Cancer Center (INCP) accredited program and hold National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers accreditation by the American College of Surgeons.

Our team excels in building strong relationships with patients, providing compassionate, attentive, and high-quality care. We operate within a collaborative environment that includes weekly Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences to discuss and plan patient care. We leverage advanced technology, utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system across both inpatient and ambulatory facilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join our esteemed team in Detroit Lakes, MN. This role is designed for a physician passionate about patient care who wants to work within a supportive and dynamic team.

In this position, you will manage an average of 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients daily. The role features a consultative call-only model where hospitalists handle admissions and night coverage, allowing you to focus on your core oncology responsibilities. You will also provide regional outreach care one to two days per week at clinics in Park Rapids and Fosston, MN.

You will benefit from a robust support team including genetic counselors, nutritionists, social workers, nurse navigators, behavioral therapists, certified cancer-care physical therapists, and lymphedema specialists. The role offers opportunities to engage in cutting-edge clinical trials through our NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant. Additionally, you will extend your reach through innovative telemedicine services, including TCON, E-consults, and virtual patient visits.
