Under the direction of the Associate Medical Director, the Chair serves in a local strategic leadership role. This position is vital for ensuring that our mission translates into action on the ground. You will collaborate with senior leadership, including the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, to lead Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers within your region.
Your focus will be on delivering quality care in a patient-focused environment. You will lead local efforts to utilize clinical data for monitoring and developing best practice guidelines, promote the standardization of clinical processes, and identify opportunities to advance digital care technologies. By partnering with local C-Suite leaders, you will help develop strategic initiatives that support both clinical and business objectives, while actively supporting the presentation of information to local hospital boards.
This role requires a leader who can effectively coach others on leadership style and self-management, make a compelling case for behavior change with physicians, and maintain a clear understanding of national and regional trends affecting provider supply and reimbursement. You will also be actively involved in advancing standards of professionalism through state, regional, and national organizations.
