About the Role

We are seeking a Surgical Services Physician Assistant to join our vital and integral surgical team. This position is primarily based out of the Operating Room (OR) with the unique opportunity to assist with multiple surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Urology.

As a key member of the team, you will provide care across all phases of surgery: performing preoperative assessments and history and physicals, acting as a first assist during intra-operative procedures, and managing postoperative care on the inpatient unit and in outpatient clinics. You will work alongside several surgeons to gain skills in a full range of surgical procedures common to a critical access hospital. Additionally, there may be opportunities to provide coverage in surgical subspecialty outpatient clinics on an as-needed basis.
