MercyOne is seeking a dynamic, board-certified Physician with Inpatient experience for a newly opened but established role as a Physician Advisor. The ideal candidate will have served on Hospital committees or possess a strong working knowledge of CMS and commercial insurance regulations. This role requires a team-building mindset and a collaborative approach to decision-making, serving as a vital resource for physicians regarding medical necessity, level of care, and clinical documentation.
MercyOne Central Iowa operates four not-for-profit Catholic medical centers and two specialty hospitals with 965 beds, supported by 7,000+ colleagues and 1,000+ providers, making it one of Iowa's largest employers.
