About the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide physical therapy treatments to patients in their place of residence under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will assist with the development and implementation of the plan of care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and attending physician to ensure continuity of care. This role requires demonstrating intermediate knowledge of home care and competency in specific patient care skills while assessing the physical disability and level of function of patients.

You will be expected to meet agency productivity standards, utilizing time and resources effectively. A key part of your day involves completing documentation timely, accurately, and at the point of care according to industry standards. You will also participate in center/agency surveys and accept responsibility for reporting any alleged or suspected violations until the issue is resolved.
