About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving the patient's well-being while following the established plan of care. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that challenges you, offering clear direction on what it takes to succeed while providing development opportunities for other roles you may be interested in.

- check_circlePerform treatment and provide exercise instruction to improve patient well-being
- check_circleCoordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate
- check_circleMake recommendations for plan of care changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- check_circleFollow state laws and established treatment plans defined by the supervising PT
- check_circleInstruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait training, and functional activities
- check_circleObserve, record, and report patient response to treatment to supervising staff
- check_circleEducate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy procedures within scope
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
- verifiedCurrent driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- verifiedAvailable to work a weekend rotation
- verifiedCurrent CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
Nice to Have
Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire. Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
