Falls City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing long-term care, post-acute rehabilitation, and geriatric outpatient therapy services. Unlike many facilities that rely on external agencies, we maintain a dedicated in-house therapy team. About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will join a supportive environment where you can make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents. This role is designed to offer a strong work-life balance with a flexible schedule, making it an ideal fit for those seeking a PRN position that complements other full-time employment. We also offer the option for a set schedule when covering vacations.

You will utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions, providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will administer various procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Your role involves assessing patient progress, communicating adjustments to the treatment plan, and providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers. We prioritize strong infection control measures to keep both staff and residents safe, and we encourage professional growth through participation in CEU classes offered to the entire therapy team.
