About the Role

This position is responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of physical therapy services. You will implement specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups, adhering to the principles and practices of physical therapy and the established objectives of the department.

In this role, you will evaluate patients by gathering data from records, interviews, and observations to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your day will involve instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home programs, while using various functional strategies to promote health and achieve treatment goals. You will plan therapy within the patient's physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities, coordinating closely with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing care plans.

Beyond direct patient care, you will serve as a leader by overseeing physical therapy assistants, technicians, and students to ensure safe patient care and smooth departmental operations. You will also maintain professional growth through educational programs and workshops, while ensuring all documentation meets professional and departmental standards.

Work Environment

This is a regular position primarily scheduled for days, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role requires the ability to work the specified hours and perform essential functions including visual acuity and effective communication.
