About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and conduct medically prescribed treatment programs designed to treat movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other health-related conditions. This role is more than a career; it is a calling to improve the lives of your patients.
You will partner with patients and their families to establish, revise, and evaluate plans of care that address identified problems. Your day will involve performing initial and ongoing assessments, utilizing standard physical therapy techniques to deliver interventions, and providing essential education to patients and staff. You will also play a key role in continuity of care by participating in discharge planning, recommending home modifications, and ensuring appropriate follow-up care. Additionally, you will oversee the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel, ensuring a safe and effective environment for all.
