About the Role
In this position, you will evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs for patients with diverse orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimize functional outcomes and patient safety. This full-time role allows you to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery and quality of life across our Texas hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleProvide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training to improve mobility
- check_circleDocument assessments, treatment sessions, and progress in the electronic medical record accurately
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- check_circleEducate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to maximize independence
- check_circleParticipate in interdisciplinary rounds and case conferences as needed
- check_circleAdhere to regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards for physical therapy practice
- check_circleContribute to quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of safety and accountability
Requirements
- verifiedActive Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license
- verifiedDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from CAPTE-accredited program
- verifiedBLS certification (American Heart Association)
- verifiedExperience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
Nice to Have
Clinical experience in orthopedic and/or neuro rehabilitation. APTA membership.
