The Staff Physical Therapist serves as a pivotal clinical leader within our facility, dedicated to evaluating and treating patients while fostering a collaborative environment with families, physicians, and the broader health team. This role goes beyond direct patient care; it is essential for maintaining high standards of documentation and ensuring seamless communication across all levels of the organization.
In this position, you will not only develop and implement effective treatment plans but also play a key educational role by conducting in-services and training for facility staff. You will supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students, guiding them in direct patient care activities in strict adherence to the state practice act. Your day-to-day impact includes participating in critical meetings such as Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review sessions, ensuring that every patient's journey is optimized for recovery and independence.
Candidates must hold a current license as a Physical Therapist in the state and maintain good standing with the state board, including meeting all continuing education requirements. We look for professionals who are proficient in relevant data entry systems and possess the ability to interpret complex medical procedures and policies.
