About the Role
As the Pharmacy Department Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a Walgreens Local Specialty Pharmacy, serving as the bridge between clinical excellence and exceptional customer service. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of prescriptions while managing the complex needs of patients, providers, and payer partners. You will lead a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational integrity within the pharmacy department.

Requirements
- verifiedBS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institute
- verifiedCurrent pharmacist license in the states within the district (or willing to obtain in 1 year)
- verifiedAt least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance
- verifiedCompleted specialized training regarding medication and disease state or sufficient practical experience for specialized services (HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology, etc.)
