About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our collaborative, supportive, and caring team in Parsons, TN. In this role, you will prepare medications for nursing facilities and behavioral healthcare center residents, ensuring that every prescription is handled with the highest standards of quality and patient safety. Your work will be guided by Tennessee State Law, CMS, DEA regulations, and nursing facility guidelines, making you a vital link in the continuum of care for our community.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve reviewing and interpreting physician orders to detect therapeutic incompatibilities, while directing and verifying pharmacy technician order fulfillment. You will serve as a key resource for facilities and healthcare professionals, providing critical pharmacological information regarding drug interactions, side effects, and dosage. Beyond daily operations, you will maintain strict quality assurance and security protocols for controlled substances and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure continuous service.
