As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will serve as a vital healthcare provider, delivering comprehensive patient care to our customers. Your mission is to ensure the accurate dispensing of prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide expert counseling on health needs and medication management. This role exists to bridge the gap between retail and healthcare, creating a culture of safety, accuracy, and trust where every customer feels supported in their wellness journey.
In this position, you will not only manage clinical responsibilities but also lead by example. You will mentor associates, enforce compliance with state and federal regulations (including HIPAA and Board of Pharmacy statutes), and drive continuous improvements in patient safety. By analyzing operational data and identifying areas for growth, you will help build a team that is committed to excellence and transparency in error reporting and correction.
