You will join the Program Finance team within the Precision Strike and Sensing Solutions business area, specifically supporting the APKWS Development and Market Expansion team under the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions product line. This team is dedicated to protecting those who protect us, managing the financial aspects of multiple contracts and programs that keep nations safe.
This entry-level Program Finance (Program Control) Analyst position is designed for someone who believes their career should always be growing. In this role, you will support the APKWS Development team and Market Expansion product area for both development and production programs. You will serve as the backbone for managing financial aspects, executing a growing portfolio of programs by creating and maintaining program baselines through earned value management. Your work will involve supporting program management in financial aspects such as baselining, forecasting, and reporting, while reviewing and monitoring program risks and opportunities like cost overruns and scheduling delays.
This is a well-rounded role that introduces you to various facets of BAE Systems finance. Because the position involves a combination of collaborative and independent work, it operates in a hybrid format, splitting time between working on-site and remotely. You will collaborate cross-functionally through team meetings and reviews, working with the contracts department on funding and billings, and supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally.
