About the Role
As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks such as dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and providing companionship. When requested, you may also offer overnight pet sitting services.
How You Work
You operate independently as a pet care provider. You manage your own schedules and service rates through the Rover platform. Communication with pet owners is a key part of the role, where you send updates and photos to keep them informed about their pets' well-being.
Earnings and Benefits
Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour, but you set your own rates and may earn additional income through tips and holiday bookings.
