About the Role
As a Rover Pet Sitter or Dog Walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, providing companionship, and overnight pet sitting when requested.
You act as an independent pet care provider, managing your own schedules and service rates through the Rover platform. Communication with pet owners is key; you will send updates and photos to keep them informed about their pets' well-being.
