About the Role
As a Rover Pet Sitter or Dog Walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and providing companionship. You also have the opportunity to offer overnight pet sitting services when requested by pet owners.
How It Works
You operate independently as a pet care provider through the Rover platform. You manage your own schedules and set your own service rates. Communication with pet owners is key; you will send updates and photos to keep them informed about their pets' well-being.
Earnings and Benefits
Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour. However, you have the flexibility to set your own rates. You may also earn additional income through tips and holiday bookings.
