About the Role
As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services to pets in need. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and providing companionship. You may also offer overnight pet sitting services when requested by pet owners.
How It Works
You manage your own business through the Rover platform. This includes setting your own service rates and managing your schedule. You communicate directly with pet owners by sending updates and photos to send them updates and photos of their pets during your visits.
Earnings and Benefits
Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour, though workers set their own rates. You may earn additional income through tips and holiday bookings.
