About the Role
As a Rover Pet Sitter or Dog Walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, and food, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and picking up waste, and providing companionship. You also offer overnight pet sitting services when requested by pet owners.
How It Works
You manage your own business on the Rover platform. This includes setting your own service rates, managing your schedule, and communicating directly with pet owners. You keep clients engaged by sending updates and photos during your visits. You have the autonomy to operate independently as a pet care provider, a pet care provider, tailoring your services to meet the needs of the pets and their owners.
Earnings are typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour, though actual earnings may vary based on your rates, tips, and holiday bookings. You have the flexibility to set your own rates and may earn additional income through customer tips and holiday booking bonuses to boost your income.
