About the Role
As a Rover pet sitter or dog walker, you provide essential care services to pets in your community. Your role involves a variety of tasks including dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding pets, refilling water, cleaning litter boxes, picking up waste, and providing companionship. You also offer overnight pet sitting services when requested by pet owners.
How It Works
You manage your own business through the Rover platform. This includes setting your own service rates, managing your schedule, and communicating directly with pet owners. You are responsible for sending updates and photos to keep owners informed about their pets' well-being.
Earnings and Benefits
Workers set their own rates, with earnings typically equivalent to $15–$25+ per hour. In addition to your set rates, you may earn additional income through customer tips and holiday booking bonuses.
