About the Role
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care within a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role focuses on providing direct, hands-on care for medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. You will be the primary point of contact for patients and families, managing intricate care plans that span weeks or months.
In this per diem position, you will work 12-hour night shifts on an ongoing basis. Your day-to-day involves monitoring vital signs, administering IV therapies such as antibiotics and TPN, and managing ventilators and tracheostomies. You will collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and physical therapists to ensure cohesive patient recovery and effective discharge planning.
