This position is critical to assuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of our pressure equipment. You will serve as an Area Inspector and/or RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) Analyst, assessing equipment risk and recommending corrective actions to mitigate high-risk items. Your work ensures that our refineries and facilities operate safely and efficiently by optimizing inspection strategies and managing corrosion-related risks.
In this role, you will evaluate Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) results, perform RBI analysis, and set inspection schedules for both RBI and corrosion-based intervals. You will collaborate closely with the Corrosion and Materials Lead and other specialists to develop work scopes for turnarounds and planned outages, participate in risk assessments, and represent Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI) in Management of Change processes. Whether in the office or in the field, you will be responsible for the technical assessment of injection points, deadlegs, and corrosion mechanisms to protect our assets and people.
We are committed to finding the right talent to join our team. Qualified candidates will be considered for this role based on their experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically their background in inspection and RBI analysis. Please note that certification as an API 510 pressure vessel inspector and API 570 piping inspector is required for this position.
