The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Phoenix Children's is one of the largest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the Southwest. With over 50 providers, our nationally recognized program is defined by clinical excellence, innovation, and a commitment to collaborative, team-based care. We are a rapidly expanding, academically engaged division dedicated to advancing hope, healing, and the best healthcare for children and their families.
Phoenix Children's stands as one of the nation's largest freestanding pediatric health systems, known for its leadership in innovative research, advanced medical education, and advocacy for the health and well-being of children and families. Our vision is to be the leading pediatric health system in the Southwest, setting standards for pediatric healthcare today while innovating for the future.
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing program. This position offers a unique opportunity to build high-quality, community-based care while remaining closely connected to a leading academic center.
The role is primarily based at one of our satellite outpatient locations in Arrowhead or East Valley, providing family-centered hematology and oncology care in a community setting. You will deliver longitudinal care, managing a broad spectrum of benign hematologic disorders and pediatric malignancies, including survivorship and supportive care. To ensure strong integration with the broader division and continuity of care, the role includes inpatient service responsibilities at the main Phoenix Children's campus for approximately 6-8 weeks annually.
You will join a team deeply committed to clinical excellence and programmatic growth. This is an ideal fit for a physician excited about developing community programs while engaging in quality improvement, research initiatives, and the education of the next generation of clinical leaders.
Our staff physicians support the Phoenix Children's mission to advance hope, healing, and the best healthcare for children and their families. We realize this vision by placing children and families at the center of all we do, delivering exceptional care every day, and collaborating with colleagues and communities to amplify our impact. We are accountable for making the highest quality care accessible and affordable.
Candidates interested in this outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly expanding division are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in those who share our commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and the advancement of pediatric hematology and oncology.
