The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Phoenix Children's is a major referral center for the Southwestern region, dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care to children and their families. As part of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, our multidisciplinary team manages a growing patient population, including approximately 1,500 new hematology patients annually. We operate a federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center serving nearly 550 congenital bleeding disorder patients, alongside robust programs for sickle cell/thalassemia (325+ patients), thrombosis, bone marrow failure, and RBC enzyme deficiencies.
Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and the best health care for children. We are committed to family-centered care, excellence in clinical practice, and the advancement of pediatric medicine through active clinical and laboratory research programs and multiple open clinical trials.
