The Department of Pediatrics at Loma Linda University School of Medicine is a vibrant academic community dedicated to advancing pediatric care and education. The Pediatric Gastroenterology division currently comprises eight Pediatric Gastroenterologists and a Nurse Practitioner, working collaboratively to deliver comprehensive care. As a member of this team, you will join a robust academic environment supported by a large residency program, including 84 pediatric residents and 16 Med-Peds residents who rotate through the gastroenterology program.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic division providing specialized gastroenterology and nutrition services to the Inland Empire of Southern California. The role is centered on delivering high-quality clinical care to a diverse patient population, ranging from general gastroenterology to complex cases involving intestinal failure, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, and liver disease. You will practice within a state-of-the-art facility featuring a comprehensive endoscopy lab, motility studies, and full-time anesthesia support.
Beyond clinical duties, this position is deeply rooted in academic medicine. You will serve as an excellent clinician and teacher, mentoring residents and fellows while contributing to the educational mission of Loma Linda University. There are ample opportunities to engage in both basic and clinical research. While experience or interest in motility disorders is preferred, the role is designed for a versatile physician committed to the growth of the division.
