Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality primary medical care to our community without regard to ability to pay. We operate as a Primary Care Medical Home, a model that places the patient at the center of healthcare decision-making rather than focusing on a specific building. Our mission is to improve the health of our communities by ensuring equal access to quality healthcare for everyone.
As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the welcoming face of our health centers, responsible for the smooth administrative entry and exit of patients. You will create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting patients and visitors with patience and understanding, ensuring they feel cared for from the moment they arrive.
In this role, you will ensure Westside has all the necessary information for follow-up contact and successful payment collection. You will work closely with providers, nurses, and medical assistants to keep everyone abreast of scheduling, patient details, and potential service delays. Whether you are assisting uninsured patients with sliding fee scale applications or helping them navigate laboratory orders, your work directly supports our goal of accessible, compassionate care.
We are looking for a caring and dedicated individual to join our team. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and bilingual Spanish skills.
Westside Family Healthcare offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with a match, and a generous PTO package designed to support work-life balance. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity and is committed to building a team that reflects the community we serve.
