The Advanced Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic practice by managing patient interactions, administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a high level of professionalism, communication skills, and the ability to handle a variety of responsibilities efficiently.

About the Role

As a Patient Service Representative at Mercy Clinic Southfork Urology, you will be the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their entire visit. You will manage the flow of the clinic by greeting and registering patients, verifying identities, and handling check-in and check-out procedures. Your day will involve answering phones, performing clerical tasks such as Epic charting, scanning, and faxing, and scheduling appointments and procedures while providing timely estimates.

You will work closely with the team to monitor provider schedules, communicate delays, and coordinate efforts to ensure efficient clinic flow. Beyond administrative duties, you will handle patient concerns professionally, manage daily cash drawers and accounts receivable tasks, and support departmental initiatives. Maintaining a safe, clean reception area and adhering to strict safety, privacy, and infection control policies are also key parts of your mission.
