We are seeking a compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to nurses and providers, serving as a vital link in the daily care of our patients. You will assist with essential activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while ensuring patients maintain their dignity and comfort.
Your day will involve measuring and documenting vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately within our electronic health records (EHR). You will support safe patient mobility, transfers, and transport to tests and procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe, and stocked patient care environment in strict adherence to infection control standards. As part of our collaborative team, you will communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team, responding promptly to call lights and escalating concerns when necessary.
