About the Role

As a Nurse Assistant, you will be the frontline of direct patient care, working closely under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to support our patients' daily needs and recovery journeys. This role is essential to the hospital's mission, bridging the gap between medical treatment and personal comfort. You will provide a safe, dignified experience for patients by assisting with vital activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while also monitoring their vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing team.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of clinical support and interpersonal connection. You will assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe handling techniques, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Beyond physical care, you will serve as a vital communication link, offering emotional support to patients and their families while accurately documenting care in electronic or paper records. You will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate admissions, transport, and discharges, maintaining a clean and organized environment that adheres to strict infection control and safety protocols.
