The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple University Health System is seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist. The successful candidate will join a collaborative network of over 1,000 physicians and scientists at one of Philadelphia's premier academic medical centers.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a high-volume, diverse casework environment processing over 23,000 surgical specimens, 3,500 cytology specimens, 100 autopsies, and 2.2+ million lab tests annually. You will have access to cutting-edge diagnostics, including immunohistochemistry, molecular diagnostics, in situ hybridization, electron microscopy, and whole slide imaging. Additionally, the department is equipped with advanced research facilities for real-time PCR, tissue culture, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques.
You will serve as a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, choosing between the Clinical Scholar or Clinical Educator options. The position involves delivering groundbreaking treatments and improving patient outcomes through clinical care, research, and education. Areas of interest and training include, but are not limited to, GI, thoracic pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, GU, Breast, ENT, and Soft Tissue Pathology.
