In this position, you will lead the dessert section of the kitchen, collaborating closely with head chefs to coordinate menu planning. You will also play a vital leadership role by supervising and training junior pastry staff, fostering a culture of excellence and culinary creativity.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with monitoring ingredient quality and ensuring the kitchen maintains impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will spend significant time at the bench, crafting intricate decorations and baking fresh goods, all while managing inventory and ordering necessary supplies. The role demands the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items throughout the shift.
