Parts (Front) Counterperson

About the Role

As a Parts Counterperson, you serve as the vital link between our service technicians, retail customers, and the parts department. Your primary mission is to ensure the smooth flow of necessary parts and supplies while actively driving sales objectives and gross profit growth. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries, managing both walk-in and phone interactions with professionalism and efficiency.

In this role, you will balance administrative precision with physical activity. Your day involves accurately identifying parts using complex ID numbers (up to 18 digits), such as VINs and driver's license numbers, across printed documents and video display terminals. You will manage the master parts listing and price book, prepare individual invoices, and maintain accurate records for all sales. Beyond the counter, you will stock new and returned parts, requiring the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.

Success in this position requires a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment. You will frequently handle multiple tasks simultaneously, from processing orders to answering phones, all while maintaining a friendly and courteous attitude despite the noise and distractions typical of an automotive setting. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the team is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.
