Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

About the Role

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time team members to join our store operations as Cashiers and Stockers. These roles are vital to maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Whether you are providing friendly, efficient checkout service or ensuring shelves are stocked and organized, your contribution directly impacts the store's success.

As a Cashier, you will be the face of the store, utilizing the point-of-sale system to process purchases accurately and managing checkout lanes to ensure efficiency. You will also handle curbside pickup orders, retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery to customers' vehicles. As a Stocker, you will keep the store looking its best by stocking shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms. Stockers must be prepared to start shifts as early as 5:00 AM to ensure the store is ready for opening.

Physical Environment

This role involves active work in a fast-paced retail environment. Team members are required to push, pull, stand, reach, and bend throughout the shift. The position involves lifting, carrying, and placing products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights, including overhead. You may work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments, and will operate equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
