Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Part-Time Security Agent to join a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment. This role is critical for ensuring the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
About the Role
In this position, you will monitor multiple security systems, including alarms and cameras, to identify and act on security risks. Your day-to-day responsibilities include controlling access to properties, maintaining security logs for guests and vendors, and providing security driving and protective services. Success in this role requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and proficiency in maintaining all protective equipment, such as vehicles, medical supplies, and communications devices.
You will need to be a proactive problem solver capable of working independently and multitasking effectively in a high-pressure setting. Excellent communication skills are essential for professionally interacting with clients, superiors, peers, and vendors. The role demands flexibility, requiring availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, often with short-notice availability.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid California Armed Guard Card, California Exposed Firearms Permit, and a State of California Security Guard Permit. We value individuals with 3+ years of relevant security, military, or law enforcement experience. Those with additional qualifications such as HR218 or California CCW permits, defensive tactics training, or First Responder certifications are highly desirable.
