As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and the management of the Center Physician. You will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment and follow guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs.
In this role, you will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will evaluate donor reactions, follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for medical emergencies, and refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when providing unacceptable findings or guidance concerning medical or technical issues. Additionally, you will support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives, including managing employee incidents and serving as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
