Our client is a growing distribution company based in Birmingham, Alabama, seeking a Part-Time HR Manager to provide hands-on human resources support. This role is designed for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently. As the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors, you will serve as a strategic partner to leadership on workforce planning and staffing needs while managing the day-to-day rhythm of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
In this position, you will drive the employee lifecycle from onboarding and new hire orientation through performance management and conflict resolution. You will ensure the organization maintains accurate records and adheres to federal, state, and local employment laws. This is a unique opportunity to shape the HR function within a dynamic distribution environment, offering the autonomy to manage complex employee relations issues and implement best practices while collaborating directly with the leadership team.
