About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing distribution company in the Birmingham, AL area, is seeking a Part-Time HR Manager to provide hands-on human resources support. This role is designed for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently to manage the full spectrum of employee lifecycle needs.

The Role in Context

As the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors, you will serve as a strategic partner to leadership on workforce planning and staffing needs. Your day-to-day will involve managing onboarding and new hire orientation, supporting employee relations through conflict resolution and coaching, and administering benefits and leave of absence programs. You will ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data.
