At Hendrick Toyota Merriam, we are dedicated to a tradition of winning that is defined not by size, but by how we treat our people and our customers. Our service team operates on a foundation of core values including Servant Leadership, Integrity, and a Commitment to Continuous Improvement. We believe that diversity is strength and that trust and respect are the pillars of our teamwork.
The Lube Technician is the frontline of our express service, responsible for performing essential lube duties to keep vehicles running smoothly. This role exists to ensure every customer leaves with a vehicle that is safe, clean, and free of fluid residue. You will be the eyes and ears of the service department, performing oil and filter changes, lubricating critical joints, and checking vital fluid levels including battery, coolant, and transmission fluids.
Your day involves more than just mechanical tasks; it is about delivering a superior customer experience. You will report necessary repairs to the service advisor, install reminder stickers, and ensure the vehicle is pristine before release. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is a daily priority, as is adhering to all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Success in this role requires the ability to follow technical manuals, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and demonstrate accountability at all levels.
Candidates with a valid driver's license and basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems are encouraged to apply. We look for individuals who can demonstrate mechanical skills and possess the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. While specific training requirements may vary, a background in automotive fields or relevant technical experience is highly valued.
Hendrick is an Equal Opportunity employer. Minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
