About the Role
As a NAPA Counter Sales Associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for all automotive needs the moment customers enter. You don't need to be able to tear down and rebuild an engine, but you do need a background and knowledge of automotive parts. This role is a great opportunity whether you are looking to spend your career as a Parts Specialist, want to work full or part-time, or just want to get your foot in the door to explore other careers.
You will provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone. You will use your parts knowledge to assist other team members, bring high energy to our fast-paced stores, and welcome customers to provide a positive consumer experience. Success in this role requires excellent communication, great listening skills, and empathy for customers.

Requirements
- verifiedValid Driver's License

- verifiedPrevious experience in a parts store or automotive industry

Nice to Have
Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership. Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision. Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems. ASE Certifications.
