About the Role
At StoryPoint Milford, you will join an innovative company where hard work pays off and advancement is always a possibility. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing food for our residents, their guests, and employees. This is a rewarding position where you will help create a safe, secure environment that upholds the privacy, dignity, and well-being of our residents.
Your day will involve cooking and preparing food according to planned menus and standard recipes. You will ensure that food is plated with proper portion guidelines and garnishing, while maintaining freshness, cooking status, and proper seasoning. Beyond the kitchen, you will be a key part of our team, assisting other staff, communicating effectively about shortages, and maintaining a positive attitude that supports our collaborative environment. You will also be responsible for stocking and cleaning your station, following food rotation policies, and ensuring the safety and sanitation of the kitchen.
