Arkansas Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and families facing life-threatening illnesses. Our mission centers on honoring the unique spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those we serve, ensuring dignity and comfort throughout their journey.
As a Chaplain, you will serve as a vital spiritual support system for our patients and their families. This role goes beyond standard counseling; you will provide direct spiritual care that aligns with each individual's personal belief system while adhering to Arkansas Hospice's policies. You will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, working alongside social workers, medical staff, and community groups to address the holistic needs of those experiencing terminal illness and loss.
Your day will involve conducting spiritual assessments, developing personalized care plans, and offering bereavement support. You will also act as a bridge between the hospice team and the broader community, collaborating with local clergy and religious groups to enhance sensitivity around end-of-life care. Whether leading memorial services, facilitating interdisciplinary meetings, or providing educational programs for staff and the community, your presence helps foster an environment of hope and understanding.
Candidates with a valid Arkansas driver's license and reliable transportation are encouraged to apply. Please note that this position may require flexible hours to meet the needs of our patients and families.
Arkansas Hospice is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
