Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, providing tangible help and eternal hope. We are a Christian ministry dedicated to serving children and students in our community through after-school care and enrichment activities. Our team is composed of teachers, youth workers, mentors, and college students who share a passion for influencing and impacting the next generation.
As a Part Time Child Care Worker on our After School team, you will serve as a Minister of the Gospel, fostering youth development by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This is a non-exempt, part-time position averaging 17-20 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
You will be a role model in your community, devoted to excellence and wholeheartedness. Your primary mission is to help kids reach their full potential and have an eternal impact on their lives. We are seeking individuals who are ministry-minded and eager to contribute to a team that views every staff position as an integral part of our vision.
To join our team, you must agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith. We value candidates who are at least 17 years old, possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. (post-secondary training is highly preferred), and have a genuine love for working with elementary-aged children. While experience is preferred, a passion for service is essential.
Successful candidates must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification, pass mandatory background and sex offender checks, and have dependable transportation. A valid driver's license or ID and legal authorization to work in the United States are required. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued.
Mentoring Alliance is committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, seeking to reflect the community we serve through our team.
