This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. ADO comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. About the Role

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Elkridge, MD. This part-time role is expected to last for approximately 3 to 6 months, supporting our production needs during a critical project phase. The Assembler will work a flexible schedule on an as-needed basis. While the position is temporary, there is potential for additional project iterations and extended work upon successful completion of the initial assignment.

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. You will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools. The role involves making continuity checks on work in process and completed items, conducting quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications, and potentially disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
