CACI is seeking a Part-Time Submarine Systems Engineer to support critical engineering and planning efforts for Submarine Rescue and Mobility platforms at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine. This role is integral to the safety and operational readiness of the nation's submarine fleet, specifically supporting 688 Class and 774 Class submarines as well as Deep Submergence projects.
In this position, you will serve as a key technical resource within a high-performing engineering group. Your work will involve developing, creating, and reviewing Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs), while also assisting with Deficiency Form resolutions and preparing Sales Cost estimates. You will operate in a time-sensitive operational environment where attention to detail and the ability to manage complex engineering calculations—such as heat transfer, fluid flow, and piping stress—are essential.

Related submarine or submersible experience with design, maintenance, operations, repair, and/or testing. Electrical power background (NSTM 300). Familiarity with Military Specifications, ANSI, and ASME standards. Experience with configuration management and document control. Ability to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a team.
