Trailside Academy is a PK-8 Expeditionary Learning (EL) school within Mapleton Public Schools (Adams County District #1). Our mission is to support academic excellence through the development of character habits: accountability, perseverance, compassion, integrity, and advocacy. We foster a culture where students take ownership of their learning, leading to pride in high-quality work. The school celebrates strong community and parent connections, offering numerous opportunities for families and community members to contribute their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
We are seeking Paraprofessionals to support our Early Childhood Education (Preschool) program for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to supervise and instruct students ages 3-5, creating a positive, nurturing, and safe child-centered environment. Your day will involve reinforcing positive behavior and life skills, implementing curriculum, and managing student health and special needs. You will be a vital part of the classroom team, assisting with health care needs, administering first aid, and supporting socialization and development.
External applicants must complete a career application online through Frontline Recruiting & Hiring. Current Mapleton employees should create an account and submit their interest as an internal candidate through the same platform. Please note that two mandatory training courses, including Title IX training, must be completed within 30 days of your date of hire.
