The Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional serves as a vital partner to the classroom teacher, working within a collaborative environment to ensure a well-organized and smooth-functioning class. The primary mission of this position is to support students in taking full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
In this role, you will assist with classroom activities, facilitate small group learning, and help students develop proper social habits. You will also manage essential administrative tasks, including accurate record keeping, clerical duties, and preparing materials, allowing the teacher to focus on instruction. The position requires a high level of adaptability, including participation in specialized training such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, as deemed necessary to support student needs.
